San Juan, Puerto Rico: Puerto Rican artist Bad Bunny announced his new concert tour, called La Nueva Religión Tour 2026, which will take him to the main stadiums of Latin America between September and December 2026. The tour includes dates in Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Spain, and is expected to be one of the largest in the history of Latin American entertainment.
The tour will kick off at the GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City on September 12, with four sold-out dates in the Mexican capital. It will then move to Estadio El Campín in Bogotá, Estadio Monumental in Buenos Aires, Estadio Nacional in Santiago, Estadio Nacional in Lima, and close at the Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid in December.
The Bad Bunny Phenomenon
Bad Bunny is currently the most-listened artist on Spanish-language streaming platforms in the world, with more than 40 million monthly listeners on Spotify. His music, which blends reggaeton, trap, bachata, and Caribbean genres, has transcended the Latino market to become a global phenomenon with followers in Asia, Europe, and Africa.
The tour comes in the context of the release of his new album El Último Dinosaurio, which broke streaming records in its first week and debuted at number one in more than 30 countries. The artist has stated that this project is the most personal and experimental of his career, incorporating influences from traditional Puerto Rican music and exploring themes of identity, love, and cultural resistance.
Economic Impact
Bad Bunny's tours have a significant economic impact on the cities he visits. Each stadium concert generates direct revenue for hotels, restaurants, and businesses, as well as temporary employment in production, security, and logistics. In his 2023 tour, the artist generated an estimated economic impact of 300 million dollars in the Latin American countries he visited.
